Impact Nexus actively engages with national summits, academic institutions, corporate platforms, and policy-driven forums to strengthen the youth entrepreneurship ecosystem in Africa.

Shaping the Future of Youth Entrepreneurship

Representing Impact Nexus at the South African Future Trust Summit by Oppenheimers, the organization engaged with innovators and leaders to explore strategies for empowering young entrepreneurs. The summit provided insights on scaling initiatives, fostering economic opportunities, and aligning Impact Nexus’s programs with the broader vision for South Africa’s future workforce.

Championing Women-Led Entrepreneurship

At the IDC-hosted Women for Women Africa Conference, Impact Nexus participated in discussions around female entrepreneurship and inclusive growth. The engagement highlighted strategies for supporting women-led startups, building networks, and equipping young female entrepreneurs with skills, resources, and mentorship opportunities.

Connecting Startups to Trade & Export Opportunities

Impact Nexus attended the African Startups and SME in Export and Trade Summit (ASSETS) alongside the Deputy Minister of Small Business Development, Hon. Jane Sithole. This participation focused on creating pathways for youth-led ventures to enter export markets & align programs with government initiatives supporting SME growth and sustainability.

Strengthening Community Partnerships

As a community-based organization, Impact Nexus engaged with the University of Johannesburg during the Community Engagement Awards, to explore collaborations that advance youth entrepreneurship and social impact. The event strengthened relationships with academic institutions and reinforced the commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for local communities.

Driving Digital Business Innovation

Impact Nexus participated in the Takealot Summit to explore e-commerce opportunities for youth-led startups. The engagement focused on digital entrepreneurship, leveraging online marketplaces, and supporting young founders in scaling their businesses in the digital economy, aligning Impact Nexus’s programs with emerging industry trends.

Mentoring the Next Generation of Leaders

At the Women in Impact Workshop, Impact Nexus engaged directly with interns and young entrepreneurs, providing guidance, mentorship, and practical insights.
